COVID - 19 /Feeding Hungry

DAY 9, COVID - 19: Feeding Hungry : Ragpickers are the special group of people in India, usually dwell in the graveyards places , they make their tents and dwell there for a while and make the tents as their home, and from 5 to 10 kms radius of this place they go and pick the trash and sell it for few rupees, and get home after week and spend with their time with their family and repeat the same business, but because of lockdown they couldn't do it, today we visited them second time, my heart goes for them, we didn't know there were 200 people living there , so yesterday we had shortage of food packets, so me along with our friends went there today to give them sufficient food, then you could see the bee line, just for the food, all we cooked is a very simple protein based food, steam rice, and Lentil soup (Dal Fry), but that's all they need, and I found out 4 women who were carrying infants, the women were dragged my hand and told me their plight of not having sufficient food, and their babies are not getting enough feed from them, my eyes were wet, all they were asking is a meal per day till the Lock down of the country is lifted. Ten more days of the lockdown is there till 15th of April - 2020. The need per day is $300 to make a simple meal for 200 people. We have distributed so far 1000 meals packets at different places, now I wanted focus on these miserable group. Would you please consider prayerfully for these group. Again it is stirring in my ears.
